Orpheus Sinfonia

Orpheus Sinfonia present Vivaldi's The Four Seasons

Packed full of memorable tunes, The Four Seasons is the most-recorded piece of classical music for good reason. Vivaldi paints an incredibly vivid picture of each of the seasons, evoking buzzing flies, birdsong, a barking dog, dripping rain, a terrifying storm and even a few drunkards... The music is dazzling, particularly the solo violin part (Eleanor Corr), an incredible showcase for the instrument and musician, with the energy barely flagging for the duration of the piece.

For this performance, the music will be further brought to life with specially designed dramatic lighting and the audience sat around the musicians, up-close to the action.

After the performance, there's a chance to meet Orpheus Sinfonia musicians over a drink.

The Seasons follows our recent sold-out performance of Sunrise, so early booking is advised.

Supported by Peter Nullis, Sponsor of the Orpheus Principals` Concertos.

Orpheus Sinfonia is one of London’s most vibrant and versatile orchestras, defined by its versatility and spirit of innovation, performing everything from symphonic repertoire and opera to world premières, film scores, immersive productions and education projects.
