Standard Deviation present a set of new and old arrangements dedicated to some of the most beloved songwriters of the past few decades. From Joni Mitchell to James Taylor to Olivia Dean, the set showcases the group's jazz-infused style alongside drummer Oren Mcloughlin and bassist Ewan Hastie, with Standard Deviation's very own Harry Baker on piano.

Standard Deviation are a professional jazz ensemble inspired by the vocal jazz traditions of New York Voices, The Real Group and Take 6. Established in late 2021, the group regularly perform in London and across the UK at jazz festivals and venues. Over the past couple of years, they have performed to sold-out audiences at Pizza Express Jazz Club, Barnes Music Festival, Stour Festival and are looking forward to making their debut at Stone Nest for this performance.

The group love collaborating with artists of other disciplines and regularly work with the Harry Baker Trio, and shared the stage with the Sam Every Big Band for a Christmas Extravaganza at EartH in Hackney in December 2023.

Standard Deviation released their debut album in January 2025, featuring their favourite arrangements.
