Kasai Masai

Kasai Masai

Kasai Masai’s music reflects their journey from the rural to the urban. Based in London and led by hip Doctor Nickens Nkoso, Kasai Masai mix Congolese rumba and soukous with Congolese folkloric tradition to create an infectious form of dance music. From the plains to the soaring heights, theirs is a sound that will transport you to a land where music is not just entertainment, but a way of life.

With their galloping rhythms, strong melodies, passionate beats, swinging guitars and moving saxophone, Kasai Masai’s original compositions move beyond traditional expectations of Congolese music.
