CHRISTMAS with DEEP THROAT CHOIR

CHRISTMAS with DEEP THROAT CHOIR

Deep Throat Choir return for their annual Christmas fundraiser, this year in Stone Nest's ethereal chapel. Old tunes and new, some festive delights, with DJ’s and dancing in the basement, Below Stone Nest, for those who desire later on. All taking place nice and early on a Sunday evening.

All proceeds will go to Hackney Migrant Centre and Collective Joy Collective.

Reviews

“Brimming with force and heart, the Choir’s second album draws depth and collaborative scope from its members histories and abilities, expanding the project’s reach into full-bodied original songs. An album that gives personal expression and experience a fully felt collective kick.” ****

“Superlative... In Order to Know You is a rich, endlessly rewarding experience, loosely rooted in folk, but wandering freely into jazz, soul, and avant-pop, the songs drawing strength from the beguiling power of massed voices.” 8/10

“Soulful and accessible... Littered throughout their second album are jazzy, swelling feel-good swoons and arrangements that give a nod to the avant-garde and Bjork-style tonal shifts.” *****
